Its the same way for guys, you tend to find relationships when you are not looking for them.

People hate needy.

How I Met Your Mother made a whole episode about it. But that's a digression.

Part of it is people are typically more confident when in a relationship at least at the start. Others start to respond to that since I'm told confidence is sexy in general. Being happy with flying solo is a type of confidence.

It's one of those funny quirks for both guys and women. As soon as you don't want it, bam! There it is whereas the more you want it, the less likely you are to see it.

On the bright side, you can now engage in some face making out if you wish.

I have a theory (that I probably read somewhere) about how our energy is much more appealing when we're not grasping for anything.
So if you really don't care whether you're in a relationship, you could ironically appear more attractive than someone who is thinking "PICK ME, LOVE ME" underneath the surface.

Also if you're feeling good and independent and such, you are likely more confident, which is always hot.

And finally, you are hot and talented and funny, so it's about damn time you were beating them off with a stick.

Btw, I love that you're going to write a play. Please submit a first draft to me by month's end at the latest. Thanks.
