Eric told her that a damaged book was 20% off, but when I rang it up I did 10% (like I'm supposed to). Then she freaked out, and said that he told her 20, and I explained that he's new, and that he just got the discounts mixed up. And then she did this whole "Aren't you going to give me 20 because that's what he said? I still think you should stand by your word when you tell a customer something." And I just said "It's store policy". Yeah it would have been easier to shut her up with the 20%, but I'm sick of rude spoiled people, and refuse to cave in to them.
