I can't believe you're a senior already. I think about high school and remember being sick as hell on the couch in the band room and you trying to cheer me up with a stuffed monkey. It's strange to think how much four years changes. And how much it doesn't change, too.

Perhaps in four years I'll be living in the city as well.
And you'll be on Broadway and I'll go see you and think, wow, eight years ago this girl was sitting with me in BHS on a couch in the band room.
