Saying goodbye to Tam for the summer yesterday really drove home the point that it is now really break, and I am away from that life I learned to love so very much. I'm just a little sad about missing all my friends. And very frustrated that our mother is at times so paranoid and bizarrely tyranical in terms of ruling of my social adventures.

And dad is indeed an immature jerk.

But Mom does not really speak with a Bostonian accent.
