[Rei's voice is lowered when he speaks, rushed. Well, probably doesn't help he's trying to keep Kouga from overhearing him.]

I've got a favor to ask - I need ways to try and calm someone down who obviously isn't listening to reason.

[Shut up this might be hypocritical but this is kinda more important right now.]

In a case like that, I... it's difficult. Is there a way to get them somewhere they can vent their frustrations without hurting anyone?

Considering the circumstances? Not really. I tried to get him to stop, but he's brushing me off every turn.

Can you reach someone who would have better luck?

The only person I can think of right now is the one we're trying to rescue, so no.

Try Prozac.

As amusing as that might be, I don't think we have the time for that at the moment.

The person I'm saying isn't listening to reason and I are currently in the middle of a rescue mission. We don't have the time to grab any medication.

That might just serve to make him more angry when he wakes up. That and we can't afford to stop right now.

...Start a fight with him so he can get all his aggression out and then break down into tears about whatever's wrong?

[PFFFFFF Okay he's snickering at that.]

Kouga's not really the type to do that sort of thing - he'd rather bottle it up, though it's looking like he's ready to hit the breaking point. Plus we're both injured. Only reason why we haven't rested is like I mentioned before - can't afford to.

I'd say you should get them somewhere where they can't do any harm first.

Trying to, but it's a bit difficult when you have a limp, I'm finding.

Is there anyone who can help?

Unfortunately, no. Like I said before, the only person that he's actually somewhat close to and would be able to calm him down enough is the one that we're currently trying to rescue.
