I think it helps to have made so many good friends here. It's...very nice.

Yeah, no doubt that someone like you would be pretty popular around these parts. I think I figured it out a little by now.

Still, it's good for you that you have so many friends.

No, it isn't just me. Most of us have made a lot of friends on here and I'm sure you will too.

Then it's just having too much faith in me, I guess. I've never had many friends, so I don't count on much here. [ although that was because of entirely different circumstances. ] I'm here to accomplish stuff other than getting friends either way.

[ she blinks, not getting it - she's rather slow on this sort of thing. ]

It's still an early friendship but I believe we've started one.

W-- wait, are you saying we're friends?

I think of you as a friend.

[ oh, well, this is awkward; she's not used to having friends, let alone to someone thinking of her as a friend that easily, but.. it's not bad, is it? ]

You seem to be very focused on what you're doing. Maybe others didn't want to get in your way?

Oh, this focus is more a recent kind of thing. It's a little strange, but ever since I got this focus people only seem to feel more inclined to tell me something like that for some reason.
