Would you guys do something you knew would make you absolutely miserable, and would break your spirit, and made you want to get totally smashed, to make someone you love happy? To keep them close to you?

Don't listen to other people....it is a question of how far you are willing to go for someone you care about and how foolish you are willing to act. Some people will kill for the one they love and others wont. It doesn't mean you care about the person any more or less...

Totally depends on what the situation is. If you wouldnt have added the keep them close to you part I would have thought this was completely you stepping back and suffering for his happiness, BUT since you did I dont see it asa selfless act anymore. SO it makes it completely up to you. HOw much/far are you willing give/go to make the person YOU love happy? Its all up to you babe! love ya!

I'm pretty sure I would do it no matter how it made me feel, but that's just the way I am. I dont' care how I feel as long as someone else feels better. I don't think you neccesarily should take this advice, or anyone's, because what we would do has nothing to do with what you should do. I love you, call me if you want to talk about this.
