Adeline had a hard time falling asleep tonight. We got her brushed, washed, and into the softest Spongebob pyjamas imaginable. She was well snuggled in all manner of bed clothes and read more than the usual allotment of books. I don't agree with most of his conjectures, but that particular line really summed up how I was feeling in the moment, because it's certainly true a lot of the time. As is C.S. Lewis, he just looks on the bright side of the things that lead to hurt more than most. ;)
