new york post :)
i realized i never posted about new york.
the trip was SO fun. it was so great to be back in ny again and i was there with the best girls in the world...so it was amazing :). so many good memories...
and pictures are officially here!!:

central park's strawberry fields, named for john lennon's song
wall dedicated to slash of guns and roses/velvet revolver in the hard rock cafe. hahaha you're welcome adrienne.

theatre where we saw "spamalot"...AMAZING new broadway musical.
we didnt have a room in the hotel for a few hours...annoyance ensued.

we got to sing at a fire station for all of the firemen...haha.
this was exciting.
this was the stations memorial to the ten men they lost in 911
then they put our director, mrs. piazza, in a truck. lol.
and she got really really excited when the fireman helped her down from the truck...so she made him re-create the moment for picture proof...hahaha i love her.
that day a few of us got very lost in the middle of NYC. fun times.
we went to dinner at beni hana's...where many april fool's jokes occured. i tried to take a candid pic of melissa...too bad it came out GORGEOUS...bah my joke backfired.
and instead i took a really ugly picture of myself. emma and i were absorbed by the incredibleness of a shrimp. baha.

woke up next morning to go to ellis island and see the statue of liberty. and it was storming horribly. but we made the best of it and ended up having a really fun time.
that was literally the color of the sky...
the storm didnt like mel's umbrella. it killed it. :(
i thought this was cool.
hahaha...now 4 of us are actually on the base of the statue...but we look like little dots. AND IT WAS SNOWING UP THERE!!

that night we went to an awards ceremony for our competition...which we got GOLD at...and got invited back for a finalists competition AND got an award for school with the most spirit. HUZZAH. then we went on a dinner/dance boat with other kids from the competition.

yay. it was an amazing trip all together.
