Last night I got to go ice skating for the first time since last spring. I had a wonderful time. I got Krystyn to come with me even though she has always refused to skate in the past. How strange it is to come back to college for just two weeks in between Thanksgiving and Christmas break. So I just had the most fricken spectacular evening. Krystyn and I just got back from the Black Sheep pub where we watched Jason Webley's quartet perform. It was a wonderful evening filled with the music of drums, violin, guitars, bass, and loud singing. Jason is marvelous alone and just as great with accompaniment. I just came back from auditions for "Hotel Paradiso" and "The Phantom Tollbooth." I had fun. I was amazed at how much more relaxed the atmosphere was this time around.
