You could get a fulltime job at just about any place. Benefits kick in after three months. Wal-mart, McDonalds, etc... they all offer dental, health, etc, so on. They have to offer those to full time employees. You don't need a blue collar job to get insurance.
Problem with that... Fast food places do not give more than 40 hours a week, unless the person is a salaried manager. Why? Because they have to give benefits. Why give benefits to a snot-nosed kid who's in your store to get a grade? Or someone who's only going to be there 9, 10 months because they're going USAF?
Another problem:
I cannot get another job. Otherwise, believe me, I would. Nothing within walking distance is open after 6 PM out here, and I honestly don't have the physical stamina or the mental stability to bounce between two stressful jobs daily.
Have you tried Blue Cross/Blue Shield? A lot of places have insurance that you pay a monthly fee for. You might have to search around to find a 'low cost' one. But it's really important to get it, since later on in life you get penalized for gaps.
