ok, so im having a melt down. thinking about abroad programs brings up a number of problems. the biggest one including the fact that i have absolutely no idea what they want to do with my life. i dont really even have areas i think i am interested in. the problem is, i dont really know what the options are. all i know are like doctors, lawyers, ( Read more... )

- Don't worry about careers now. You're in college, and college is for testing out different things and experimenting with new ways of thinking. At the end of your college career here, it's sort of expected that you go into grad school. Once in grad school, then you can start worrying about a career (though not necessarily one in the discipline you're studying) but not before. You've got the luxury of time right now, so do what you haven't done or want to do. Only in a couple of years will you have to figure out a way to make a career out of what you want to do.
