My new role as publicist, includes overhauling The New Ottawa Repertory Theatre's
website
. Can anyone recommend a decent, downloadable HTML editor?

I use
Edit Plus
, but I'm experienced with HTML so I'm not sure if it's the best option for a beginner.
About.com
has a good explanation of HTML editors and includes a list of
top free editors
for both Windows (this link) and Mac (see previous link).
Hope that helps.

I got Nvu for a course last year and found it easy to use. It's free...well, probably shareware, I can't remember.
