I take some (though it is slight) solace in the number of people equating this to terrorism. If the crazy right can label anything they don't like as terrorism, then 'getting their way' due to an act of violence has to be classified that way, no?

I'm afraid that there is no real way to defeat ignorance.

Some of those comments remind me of the idiots who picketed Matthew Shepard's funeral.

Those idiots, Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church (no linky for them), also picketed Dr Tiller's funeral. They've made a habit of picketing soldiers' funerals as well. They are ... not healthy individuals.

That is really, really sad! I hope that perhaps the closing will be temporary? Maybe the family needs time to heal, before putting themselves out there again for attack by some inhumane, deranged people....
