i know what you mean, i don't miss it, but i am nostalgic about the moments that were good. i know what you mean about being codependent. when i find myslef alone i realize how much i really don't hate people and i need to be entertained!! hah, call me sometime when you are alone, i would love to talk

You know, Jessica, Webster's defines nostalgia as "A bittersweet longing for things, persons, or situations of the past." I think that "bittersweet" is the key word there. It's not that you really want to be back in that world, but you recognize it as not only a part of your life, but a part of what put you on the path you're currently on. That alone makes it something important and dear.

I think I can speak for everyone who knew you then and everyone who knows you now when I say that I am very proud of you. I am thrilled that everything in your life is coming together so nicely, but I cannot say I'm the least bit surprised. You will continue to wow us all.
