Hun, if you meet your roomate and hate eachother, someone else in Southgate will probably feel the same way about their roomates. You just talk to your RA or whoever is in charge, and you can get a roomate switch. Most people do not realize that they don't have to stay with a roomate they dispise. In my dorm last year, I got put with a conservative, OCD, republican who went to bed at 8 pm and expected me to do the same. Oh, and she told me when to clean my room, what to eat, and when to study yet she never went to class. I got a new roomate, Drunken Slut. She was obviously not perfect, but she was live and let live with the cleaning, and never slept. Roomate situations are rarely perfect, even when you room with a friend. You'll be fine though.
