This is flawless. I love it. Reading this really makes me feel both uncomfortable and excited, and that's a feat (or a sign of being mentally unstable, but let's go with the feat) ;)

Then again I have a knack for good tragedy, and without changes this is a very likely chain of events to befall on Skye and Lucas. It's strange how you manage to make Skye so relatable, and all of her choices justifiable in this. And is his own unbalanced self.

And Skye standstands. His obsession with her was his downfall - is his downfall and for every formula, every equation he can understand with utter clarity, he's never been able to understand his feelings for her.

Favourite part right there. Just perfect.

Hope you'll consider writing more of this pairing in the future ♥ I'm totally adding this story in my memories ;) Thanks!

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback!

Reading this really makes me feel both uncomfortable and excited...
Seeing as I was aiming for uncomfortableness with this, it's awesome that it does come out. I love these kids and while each of the scenes they gave us was so complex and intricate and messed up, my favourite was the one where Lucas released Josh from the brig, with Skye lurking in the background. What she did to "convince him" is unsettling to think about and I wanted this to be a continuation of that line of thinking. What is it that she does to keep those that she loves safe and how does that affect her?

Again, thank you so much for you lovely feedback! I do hope to write more for this pairing in the future. :)

this was amazing. i love how complicated skye's feelings were and it wasn't just all lovey dovey. it seemed very real the way you portrayed her, how conflicted. lucas felt incredibly in character too. and though the whole story was awesome, my favorite part was the last act. the description of the commander and the shannons and her mom, everyone looking on and how she feels alone in all of it and lucas really is her only choice.

really awesome work. i hope you write more of them!

Thanks for you lovely comment! The last act was my favourite to write - I really enjoyed writing what their ~relationship would look like to other people. how it would have been perceived to those that weren't around to witness it.

again, thank you so much. :)

Oh god this is so brilliant! I could barely read the end through the tears. Its the sort of choice I'm afraid she's going to have to make, with no way back from either decision... just brilliant!

Thanks! Though I'm sorry I made you cry :P

I love those kinds of choices and it was so fun to write. Thanks again for the lovely words. :)

OMG...this is probably THE best Skye/Lucas story I have ever read. Seriously. I love the AU elements that are taken a step further, and oh how I wish you would write more, I didn't want this is end. You should write some form of a sequel since clearly he came back for her :)

LOVE IT <3

wow, thank you so much. That's very nice of you to say.
I have been throwing around ideas for a sequel or even a Lucas POV working within the same timeline, but we'll see how it goes. These kids are so fun to write about. :)

I feel it is the most realistic story when it comes to these two. Most people who write them have them be magically in love right away...and let's be honest, everyone knows Skye was kinda freaked out over him, and not like a school girl magically in love kinda way!

You had them in awesome character! Oh jee, and might I mention how I wonder how Lucas would react if he found out that she aborted the baby? YIKES.

But yes. Oh YES. Write more, you rock :)
