Less than a week until the dreaded 25th birthday. I decided I'm not doing anything special for my birthday, but a friend of mine is bringing a cake up to bowling next Monday, so I guess that could be considered as "something special." I invite you all to join us. It'll be fun

hahah, my dad was one of the people who told me it was depressing. comparitively, it can't possibly be more depressing than about schmidt. i watched a few minutes of sideways the other night and really liked what i saw, but had to run out somewhere and never finished it. i'm sure i'll end up watching years down the line. i'm so bad about keeping up with movies these days. the only time i watch them anymore is in my '70s film class, and i've already seen half of those anyway, so it doesn't really count.

I picked up Sideways last night and plan to watch it after work. Looks like my kinda movie. Screw the haters.

I feel your pain about sitting at home watching multiple movies. I have the Blockbuster movie pass & Netflix because every time I try to rent a new release from Blockbuster they are always out of the movies I am looking for so Netflix is better by far. I just hate waiting when I return movies for more to come in. haha.. Pretty sad huh? Oh well, anyway I have Sideways right now. Maybe I am a dumb ass or something or maybe it was due to the fact that I was exhausted & kept half way falling asleep but I did not understand that movie at all. I am going to have to watch it again before I send it back. Happy early Birthday just in case I forget to leave you a message on your birthday. =) 25 isn't so bad, I turn 30 this year in September now THAT is depressing. lol

Yeah, I feel the same way. I seem to never be able to get my movies fast enough or when I want them. Occasionally I'll go up to Blockbuster, but there is NEVER anything new there. Blockbuster has become obsolete for me.
Give Sideways another try. Just make sure you watch it on plenty of sleep. Haha!
