Thanks so much! :3 I'm having a big ol' love affair with Melody/River, and the Doctor as well.

The aim for the challenge was 10k words, and the most I've written is about 6500 words. The real challenge here was making sure things were always happening and it wasn't a bunch of filler.

Oh, this was fantastic - and what a way to explain a) how she properly becomes 'River', and b) how she gets from the hospital to the 52nd century!

Beautifully written and pretty much the best River/Doctor fic I think I've ever read - you have both of their voices down so perfectly I felt like I was watching this, not reading it.

I'm glad the voices worked! My friend says she's jealous of my Eleven!voice and he's quite easy, River is a little harder, and Melody even more so. ♥
