She watched the scene and fought tears. Tears of frustration, anger, betrayal, and hurt. How could he do this to her?
Her husband stood there, in the open, kissing another woman. Oh, how it stung. She would do anything for him, and he knew it, but there he was. He was betraying her without hesitation. How could he do this to her?
"So much for the damn marriage vows," she muttered to herself as she slid off her wedding band. Slowly, with reluctance she dropped her symbolic, cherished ring on the ground and stepped on it. Like he already had.

She was attracted to the man that was going on about something. But this man wasn’t her husband. She felt guilty and wrong, but she still let herself imagine him, his touch and kiss. But he was oblivious.
"What?" he said abruptly, jarring her out of her thoughts.
"Draco," she started. Then quickly she leaned toward him and brushed her lips against his lightly.
"What the?" he said startled. But before she could respond, he brought his hand around the back of her head and pulled her close.
The kiss was perfect. The man was perfect. But the situation wasn’t.
