That was a beautiful Christmas story! I was kinda getting worried there for a moment. It seemed like the whole family would be dead and that wouldn't be very festive. I always thought of nut crackers being kinda creepy when there's a whole bunch of them, but this definitely changes things.

Cute little Ara just slept through it all! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I was REALLY nervous about this one as I've never done suspense/horror/scary vibe. Your review gave me a chuckle "not very festive" indeed! LOL! Me too, about the nutcrackers-- I think they're very creepy. I was wondering if someone would mention the baby sleeping through it all... I know my own kid would've been up and crying when the shutter started banging, lol!

Don't laugh! I've read holiday fest fics that had sad endings or ambiguous endings. It's the holidays, happy endings are a must!

As for Ara sleeping through it, I'll chalk it up to a special crib that's one-way sound proof. Magical, you know? =)

LOL! You're so funny! Yes, I agree. Happy endings are a must for the holidays. "Sound-proof crib" Wouldn't THAT be cool!? ;)

OMG, this was so good! I love a good scary Christmas story as well, and this was perfect! Nutcrackers are a bit creepy at the best of times, I think, but making them sentinels fit wonderfully well.

I admit, I was secretly a bit relieved that I wasn't the only person who killed off poor Draco - even if it was only temporary. =)

Thank you so much! I loved this!

Oh thanks so much! I'm so happy (relieved) that this is getting a good reception. First off, the company of dramione authors is STELLAR, and second, this is somewhat of a new genre for me. I usually do romance/drama a tad of mystery... but horror is totally new. My fav horror writers are Poe and Stephen King, so I tried to emulate those guys a bit. In any case, I'm SO glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, the temporary Draco kill had readers worried! *evil laugh* Thanks again for your review. :)
