“Just a bite,” he tries, but he’s no longer looking at her blasted pudding.

It was right about here that the excited tingle began, reading this delicious confection of a story. And then he says one word-- her name. And it's all over. Because we know it's not really pudding he's after.

I loved this. It's gloriously simple, deceptively so, because it's really so wonderfully nuanced.

I love that last moment when she hears his laughter, "rich and sudden," coming from the other room, and she knows without doubt that good things between them are very likely ahead. Thank you for this lovely gift of a story!

Love this - so much to read between the lines - a reader's feast of imagination.

And oh, what a lovely banquet.

Thank you so much for this one. It was short and sweet. Great way to end the Christmas Calender. Start short and end short. Thank you, Happy Holidays and thank you for giving me a little cheer in this grim Christmas season at this time in my life.

This was so sweet-the perfect Christmas gift! I loved the kiss and Draco's uncertainty after it. Hermione evaluating how her pudding turned up in the middle of the kiss cracked me up. Thank you so much!
