LOL, I had to Google 'aesthetics', because I'd only heard it used in the context of philosophy before! (I'm old ;-)
So, do you mean adding diversity by casting a person of colour as a nominally white character?
I think that's fine (especially since Hermione is played by women of colour in 'The Cursed Child'). I think the artist should include 'aesthetic' in the Artist's Note (which appears before the cut).
