Heights...

When it comes to dating, should the guy be taller than the girl?

I like this guy, but he's six inches shorter than me... and I'm not that tall. Only 5'6". But he's well, short. It's frusterating me, but I don't want it to.

Any words of advice.

Wow... a 5 foot tall guy. The poor guy. Imagine how he must feel. I guess if you like him enough it really doesn't matter.

I know... but I've known him for a loooong time. Since I was eight. So I guess the height doesn't bother me too horribly. I have to see him more often before I make a fool of myself trying to impress him. lol.

Aww, Lexa, don't let it stress you out too much. If you like the guy that much, and things turn into more, you will know if it feels ok for you. Ya know what I mean? I wouldn't let it get too frustrating. Everyone just goes by the fact that a taller guy is better, I guess you could say, but there's no rule stating that that's how it must be, ya know? If yall end up together, sweet, if not, don't sweat it. Don't let the height thing control you though...it's one characteristic.

Personally, I'd want a guy either the same height or taller, for aesthetical reasons, and cause I wanna be carried around... but... height doesn't really matter if you still like him, including his 'shortness'

I know you don`t know me at all... Found your name at a com and just wanted to see and then I found this entry and wanted to share something: My boyfriend is exactly the same hight as I am (And I am short) I have always imagined myself with a taller boy and in the beginning it bothered me even trough I didn`t wanted it to. But now I feel that it doesn`t matter anymore, since I like him anyway. You just have to try and not let it get to you and be with him anyway.

I understand if you don`t listen to the advises of a stranger, but I just had to ;)
