Mal

Malinor Thrush (Mal) - my Warlock in Mason's about to end D&D campaign - can now use a Quickened, Maximized, Empowered Eldritch Blast. If I was insane and blew 5 of the 10 charges I have left in my Warlock's Sceptre on a single blast, I would do 72 + (12d6 / 2) points of damage. As a Free Action. That is all.

So will you finally admit that Mal is EVIL?

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that it may tend to incriminate me.

But you can make your own assessment after tonight's session.

OH NOES. You're totally going to make a play for the Gauntlet and try to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!

Of course, my Paladin is going out in a blaze of glory tonight and your warlock will probably live forever (or at least long enough for his eldritch blast to be the equivalent of a tactical nuclear weapon), so maybe I need to rethink this whole good / evil thing.

If Galen becomes a Holy Pavement Smear +3, and if Laurelyn manages to survive to the freeze-frame group high-five right before the closing credits, I assure you the "Ballad of Galen Devil-Sploder" will be on the lips of millions for generations to come.

DUDE! THAT'S AWESOME!

[Note: Because of the nature of written text being unable to easily convey intonation and other cues as to the potential subtext of a statement, the author wishes to make clear that the above statement is made without any intention for sarcasm, but is instead meant to show authentic enthusiasm. Also, the author plays a fighter in a D&D 2 campaign that gets +11 damage because of the combined effect of muscle bonuses and various skills. :) ]

Wow. I had forgotten the scale of D&D damage as compared to the crazy games I play online.
