On the plus side, you probably didn't miss TOOO much because it was the first literal class meeting.

I know it sucks you wasted an absence, but this could have happened on a more important day and you would have screwed yourself over.

I'm not sure about not missing much. We were supposed to have a reading assignment done and we have a quiz next week.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one absent. That makes me feel a little better
