Blech, these hot humid days suck. I miss Alaska! And speaking of which, it's been long overdue to write about it.

Back from a trip that took a little longer than expected, but still just as fun! Given the time, I'll write a more thorough entry later.

After being gone for so long, it'll be good to get back into the daily groove of things. Mmmrrmph.....jet lag.

It's hard to believe that 12 hours from now (as of this post) I'll be boarding a plane to begin my long journey to Alaska. I've wanted to visit the place for some time now, so instead of wistfully thinking about it, I'm actually going to do it. Don't you hate it when a task you undertake lasts far longer than you anticipated? You know, I think people look at the Internet differently than how I look at it. When folks go out somewhere to relax or take a vacation, they talk how they enjoy being away from such technologies. It makes me wonder if it's because they solely use the Internet for social means (ie Twitter, Facebook, LJ, etc). That to me is just a single aspect ( Read more... )

I can't help but both chuckle and shake my head with all the ruckus raised by Facebook's privacy issues. People seem to forget that this is the Internetz, and that any private intimate matter that one may hold should be conveyed on more discrete channels, NOT on your wall.
