Urban Attack 6: Play play only
Went down to velocity again last wed for the free play session, because we couldn't make it for the actual finals on sat (plus our chances were terribad anyway).
The straightforward rotating rings got changed to these eccentric rotating rings. And there went our chances of making it through. Nearly landed out of the net towards the end of the video above (I heard the collective intake of breath from the spectators), luckily my one armed hang was up to the task and I hung on for those crucial additional seconds. Just in time for the splashdown (it had rained earlier, mat was wet with sky sweat).
Quite proud of being able to complete the 3rd leg of the obstacle leg, while fresh. Probably would have done nowhere as well if I had made it here the proper way. Props to those that can do so anyway. Witnessed some true beasts doing stuff like jumping to the middle of the first board after only doing one jump on the salmon ladder. Human flight in action.
