People Got Me, Got Me Questioning...Where is the Love?

Since listening to politics more and more and tracking Bono's political movements, I've become a genuine "drop the debt" flag waver. And it is not just because my favorite rock star is, but I personally believe as a Catholic that is it our duty as the richest nation in the world to help the poorest nations. ~you feel it to be the Catholic thing to do, yet other truths of Catholicism seem overrated and overpushed to you. Catholicism does not mix with opinions, the Catholic thing to do may seem a bloody nuisance but part of practicing Catholicism is Blind faith; acting upon your beliefs whether they seem fair or sensible or not...at least, that's what you have been telling me...*love from a certain smelly greek to a potato-lovin' mick*~

I mostly agree with what you are saying, but with all due respect, it seems that the US as a nation must first "remove the log" from it's own eye before it can address the specks in the eyes of others.

huh.........? It's so ez to complain about the "log" while relaxing in the comforts of our air conditioned homes, sipping latte at our keyboards. We ARE the Nation & we must work together to get the job done. Any solution must begin with me. Where is the love? PA,London,Germany,France,& Italy for starters. Mike, you've already made a difference. I'll see u there :~D
