I don't have time for queeny tear-ya-down bitches. Having the skill is one thing, but living in that state perpetually just seems as hollow as it is caustic. At least Monssieur Knobjockee d'Pretens seemed to have a shred of self-deprecating humor...

My withering wit is highly situational. If something I say has snap, it's pretty much limited to the situation or the person. I'm a low-blowing gossip-monger who's got a knack for knowing dirt on everybody and deflating them with it on the spot if they start suffering from ego over-inflation.

And more embarassingly, it's far more common for me to be the "Hitler" for others, courtesy of my personal magnetism and charm and my modestly butch physique. It's not something that I strive for--it just happens. In fact, I've never fallen for a Hitler--sadly because I'm probably too into myself to bother noticing them. It's a character flaw--what can I say? My apologies on behalf of all the Hitlers out there to those who have simultaneously pined after and loathed us for being at once hot and self-absorbed jerks. I think I'm just smart enough to recognize my egoism for what it is and just sympathetic enough to be a half-assed apologist.

Meh. Anyhow, back to my mirror-gazing. Carry on.

Ugh, that LJ community is so whacked that I deleted it off my friends' list today when house cleaning. The place is full of barely regal..I mean barely legal gay boys in their early 20s who think they've conquered the world and can give out Dear Abby advices. What do they know about relationships? They can barely shave and I'm sure more than half are stuck in small town, red-neck USA!
