Yup started this week. Nothing much to do yet at work but things are rather hectic whenever I reach back home. This workplace is much more inconvenient compared to my previous one (in terms of traveling etc), I feel so tired out.
Btw, I bought something for you at Cosfest! I've been meaning to drop a msg but work got in the way. Maybe I'll pass it to you at the next con? XD
Haha, enjoy your honeymoon period. After a while, work will be coming at you fast and furious, and then you'll miss your honeymoon. XDDD
Try talking to your colleagues and find out how they get to work. If you have colleagues who carpool, you could join in. There are also some people who take special buses to work; it's almost like school buses, where private buses pick up specific people near their places. I used to take such buses until the Circle line was put into service, and the bus I took picked up people in the Bishan/AMK area and sent them to the NUS area.
Aww, thanks so much! Haha, I'll probably see you at AFA next? It's gonna be back in Suntec, so traveling there will be so much easier!
Yeah it's a conflict: feel useless and guilty now for not doing anything much in particular, or feel overwhelmed and up to my eyeballs in work later on. XD
Well I've been trying to make use of the free MRT rides in the morn, so I've been traveling really early every day (but still not that early, just 30 mins before my official starting time which I use to eat breakfast and read newspapers). But somehow this arrangement makes me feel much more tired out than my previous workplace at Tanjong Pagar. Hopefully I can figure out something that works for me.
Sure, I'll see you at AFA then! It's been so long since we last saw each other. XD
