Wow, I haven't done this in such a long time I am not sure I remember how.
Basically, I went camping. The END.
No really, we drove approximately 2hrs to a camp that Allison's Grandmother has owned since the 60's. It's right outside Cook's Forest State park and it is secluded, private, down right lonely. After we arrived and unpacked/checked out the facilities we quickly realized we were staying on the set of the Hollywood's next blockbuster horror film.
Saturday it rained profusely but I managed, with the help of my brother-in-law, to build a hugemongous fire.
.
There was lots of nature in the vicinity and I was sucking it up.
Oh, we did venture out Saturday briefly. We drove Go-carts on a soaking wet track and played mini-golf (always a camping favorite). I kicked some major butt at mini golf. At which point Allison asked me if I had used one of "My Three Wishes" to beat everyone there so soundly. So, all in all it was good time, even though by the end we were all soaked through to the bone. I figured that was another excuse to build another Giant bonfire!
Anyway, I guess that's all for now. Everyone made it home safe and sound and I got my camping fix since I can't make Pennsic this year. *sigh* But the beach will soothe away my pain I am sure. Heh. I will just miss my friends!
