I don't get how George W. Bush will be blamed for the Economic State of the country when he leaves office

Bill Clinton wasn't blamed for 9/11...

Is it more plausible that Bill fucked things up in 8 years... or that W. Fucked things up in 8 months so badly and pissed people off so much that they flew a plane into two towers, and the pentagon?

We weren't in a recession under Clinton. Now we're trillions of dollars in debt due to a war directly started by GWB (that was predicated by four years of GHWB in office...)

However, I think GWB was unlucky enough to be in presidency when 9/11 happened. It certainly wasn't a coincidence though. I don't agree with his stance on the war which may be way I'm so against him spending our economic surplus on sending throngs of soldiers overseas, but I feel like our economy has suffered directly because of 9/11 (not because of GWB persay...)

Well my point is... is that you can't blame the next president for the economic status any more than Bill Clinton was held responsible for 9/11.
