ok wow I am a loser, during my poll to see if it was financially worth to add a second phone line so that people state side could call me, I only managed to get three people that said they would. And that LJ post was not my only means of polling. I said it wasnt a popularity contest and I meant it, it wasnt but DAMN that certainly lets me know what

Well if your getting your computer back any time soon why not just use something like Ventrillo (free) to talk to people. We use it to talk and play games online with folk in FL, MT and here. It works well and even if your connection is crappy as long as the only thing you use is Ventrillo it should run okay. If your connection is a bit faster then you can surf the web, play games or do what ever while you talk.

But either way its free and all you need is a microphone for your comp to use it (we just buy head sets for 12$ with ear phones and mics so that every one doesn't have to listen to our conversation). I will get a link from Jason and put it up here when he comes home. I know there are other services like this, I just have not used them. But they are free for both of us so why not use something like this? Then no one pays money and we all have no excuse for 'calling' you.

Its free for everyone, once you get your comp it will work out great. I say you should not have to pay extra to talk to us, because hell, you already do. So go with something like this ::shrug::
