Man, have I been busy. I've been working my ass off the last week and a half or so. Gave a presentation on Wednesday that should back the boss off for a while. Maybe a week or so. I really need some down time. I really want to take a break for a few days. Too much work, still. Arrgghhh. This is really affecting my life. I will NOT become

Hey, at least we beat Ole Miss. This is a pretty young team with a newish coach, and no one on the team is shining enough to go to draft early. so you're looking at a potentially hellish team over the next few years, and because of the proud history, I can actually say it without a sense of shame, like when I say "maybe the Saints will be good THIS year."

Still Remains actually came up on my playlist when i was typing this. Right after Third Eye. Praise be to Jebus for restored hard drives and Saturday mornings to one's self.

Also, I don't think this is just an MSU thing. This year has been particularly shite for the entire SEC. Florida and LSU are in the polls, with Alabama popping in and out about once a month... but this is the first time I can remember in ages, that no SEC team really has even a realistic outside shot at winning. Kentucky is always my back-up SEC team. Kentucky and UNC are my bandwagon teams... you know how everyone has the 'winning' teams on the back burner that they follow, in case their shitty #1 team blows it again (re: Saints, Bulldogs, Red Sox). Maybe my Pacers can still pull something together before its all said and done this year and it won't all be for waste. I think the most I can hope for is an eventual upset of the Pistons in the playoffs before losing to someone else (I wouldn't be devastated to lose to LeBron).
