Holy shit. The Saints are going to get Reggie Bush!!!

They seriously need some defensive players, but you don't pass on an opportunity like this.

Going picnicking today. Yay!!!

You think they'll rewrite the offense for a 2 back system? or do you trade reggie bush to the highest bidder? I suppose you could alway trade Deuce, but he's proven, and well-liked by the fanbase.

Honestly, I think if teams were going to offer enough for N.O. to part with Bush, then those deals would have come out during the draft. New Orleans has stated that while there were offers for Bush from the Jets, Broncos, and Packers, none of them were even CLOSE to being sweet enough. IMHO, Reggie Bush will still be wearing black & gold in time for Week 1 2006. I'm fired up.

Man, how good do you think brees will be now that he has two good RB's, that can both run and catch-and-run as well... and Reggie can even audible or line up as WR! There's a good chance that the Saints will be playing a very college type offense, I think, I hope all the grooming San Diego put Brees through didn't soften that style of play for him. How well does Brees read defenses. If he gets good (or already is good) at audibles and quick reads and changes... this will be hands down the most exciting team to watch for a change, and that without a Manning or Vick. btw, has anyone taken the gamble on Marcus Vick? (I'll probably look that up as soon as i post this.) High Five, Jeremy! Go Saints! Shame I don't have anyone here to share my wealth of excitement with.

With the backfield Brees has now, along with Horn and Stallworth (who gets better each year), I think the Saints have the potential to be an offensive juggernaut. Remember also that they've done some major OL surgery. I agree...it'll be most exciting. The best part is, even with New Orleans being smaller than it was, if they can sell out the Dome every week, they're less likely to move. And according to a couple of news reports I've seen, phones in the ticket office have been ringing off the hook.

As far as Marcus Vick goes, I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. He wasn't even drafted. I can understand someone making one bad decision being that young. However, this kid's made SEVERAL bad mistakes, even one involving a firearm and some teenagers. He's a bad apple, and I think teams see that. He won't amount to anything in the NFL.

Oh, and if you haven't heard, Favre's coming back for another year.

I gotta say I also like Shockley staying in Georgia. I have no idea how his workouts went or anything, but he could learn a lot behind Vick and potentially be a Grade A backup for next time Vick goes down in the preseason, heh.
