I'm so proud!
Yay, I finally managed to make my first video clip (ripped from a movie someone recorded for me from TV):
Rudolf Nureyev (as Rudolph Valentino) tangoing with Anthony Dowell (as Vaslav Nijinsky) in Valentino.
Just in case someone is wondering/curious: While this is definitely a beautiful performance, it's not the tango as Valentino danced it. He was a ballroom dancer, and this is the tango that made him famous. And while Valentino may have met Nijinsky he very probably never danced the tango (or any other kind of dance) with him.:-)
ETA: According to one of the few reliable Valentino biographies (The Dark Lover), he claimed to have taught Nijinski to tango. And I've just found out that it's now actually Sir Anthony Dowell!
