So I may find myself back in the States in a month if I don't find another job here. Unfortunately, I have the double whammy of not being able to continue my certification (classes start after I'm let go) and there's virtually no jobs in the area. So here's my question.

Plug for Seattle, I found a job recently and with your field being net dev, you shouldn't have too much trouble. Prof said Amazon is looking for good programmers, and with Microsoft, Google, and others, there's a lot of opportunity out here. We've got a lot of cool folk, and you can live in the cheaper surrounding area south of Seattle and still have good access to public transportation (just don't go north, fuck Community Transit).
