So today I'm posting a very unique band, in my opinion. That would be CAKE. I say unique because I literally cannot think of another band who sounds quite like they do. It takes a bit to get used to the singer's method of singing, but his weird monotone-ish style works for what he's doing. I like their music, but I find meaning or a one-shot story

Ooh, I think I only ever heard Short Skirt/Long Jacket in a commercial, I mostly know them for Distance, their cover of I Will Survive, No Phone and especially Comfort Eagle (Building a Religion). That last one is probably the coolest song I've ever heard.
