another winter weekend
It was another low-key weekend, which suited me juuuuust fine. It went something like this...
- had delicious dinner of fettuccine w/ asparagus, tomatoes, and prosciutto
- read myself to sleep
- got up at 9ish, made some coffee, finished my book
- discovered gilbert had finally found his way onto the top levels of the cage but was afraid to jump down [he would continue to do this all weekend, causing stress for himself, Daphne (who was ill-at-ease wondering where her brother was), and Chris and me (who had to worry about getting him down when he hates being touched and making sure he had food and water)]
- went to village gardens for brunch with the hubby (we may make this a weekly thing as it is quite cheap and good)
- spent the afternoon getting the bunnies into a carrier and out of the room so we could vacuum and put a plastic tablecloth under their cage, and then getting them acclimated to the room again
- Started Red Dragon and listened to my new CD's
- ordered sushi and rewatched the movie version of The Silence of the Lambs with the hubby
- got another nice night's sleep (albeit in a freezing bedroom)
- got up 9ish again, read some more
- played with da bunnies
- straightened up the house a bit and did some laundry while chris did some dishes
- read some more
- went to see the new bond movie while it was still in a few theatres as chris wanted to see it on the big screen. it was very different than the others but i don't want to get into analyzing it as i am really not a fan or scholar of bond and just went to please chris. ;)
- my mom and dad came over to visit da bunnies
- ate leftovers of wonderful fetuccine dinner and watched family guy
- read some more... heh
