Sad news.

I learned today that my 12-year-old kitty, Shadow, has contracted the Feline Leukemia Virus.  What this means is that her immune system is compromised and it is likely that she will continue to get ill on a regular basis until she passes away.

The vet (and all other resources) say that death occurs between a few weeks to a few years after diagnosis

I'm truly sorry to hear about your cat. Having had one of my cats die within the last two years I know how much this sucks. Hopefully Shadow will be able to live towards the long end of the life span estimates.
