The bank that holds my mortgage, Fifth Third, just sent me an offer saying, "Since you're such a good customer, and since you always pay your bills on time, we're going to let you take a month off from your mortgage payment

Why not the MSU credit union? Damn good bank. I'm still using it.

We use that for banking, but when we moved here we worked with a mortgage broker who put us in with Fifth Third.

I'd love to switch our mortgage over to MSUFCU, but since we currently owe more on our house than it's worth, we can't refinance.
