well i got my report card about a week ago. i did okay, but it is just agitating to bust your ass doing shit just to get mediocre grades. because really, 90 is what mediocre is at stuyvesant. but i guess by real world standards 90 is good. dont mind me, im just being asian.

aww shit. I know what you mean. My average was a 88, the lowest I've gotten in a while, and I was just annoyed out my ass.

same here. a 90 in my school wont do shit for you. it does really suck, working hard and all that you get in return is mediocrity. not only that, but with mediocre grades, you cant get into the honors or AP classes. and then the colleges will think, she didnt challenge herself with difficult courses in high school. well, how are you supposed to challenge yourself if your school didnt even give you the chance?

exactly. its ridiculous how you need 95+ to get into APs. i bust my ass and the highest grade ive ever gotten from stuy was a 92. but how bout you? i bet you do better than you let on.
