XFire aka XGuilt

So I started using a new chat program called XFire which displays the game I'm playing and in certain situations the server I'm on so my online pals can join in. It's pretty impressive that I use it so much, because I usually never fire up a chat program. Anywho, XFire has a disappointing feature that tracks the amount of time you play videogames. Keeping track of your WoW time does seem like an interesting concept at first. But despite the hefty amount of time you spend on there, I don't think you should feel bad.

But getting all of the State is an excellent idea.

Yeah, I don't think there is any reason to feel any guilt about play time. However, I would totally agree that having a diverse set of activities is necessary after doing nothing but playing wow for months straight. That's why I quit, I knew I was missing out on things that I normally would be interested in/entertained by and felt kind of pathetic just doing one thing constantly.

WoW is great from a social and gameplay perspective, but it can't really replace actually doing stuff in RL (for me anyway).

Then again, I live with a pretty much walking (sitting) contradiction of everything I just said.
