Humility?

The Bon Iver song "Blood Bank" helps me to remember that the world is a complex, multivalent thing and that I don't know shit. Because this song can come along and totally floor me and it was probably relatively easy for dude to think up in the first place.

I didn't care much for the CD, didn't see why everyone was rocking it on their end of the year lists (much less near the top) but as usual, when you rec something this hard, I'll have to give it another listen. (I did love "Skinny Love+ though - it's on my new mix. :))

"Skinny Love" gives me a soul-boner. I've been describing it as what would happen if TV On The Radio went through a big Elliott Smith kick.
