But surely it makes much more logical sense to say that they are killing themselves because they hate our freedom?
I'm pretty sure that most people have never even thought of an answer to "Why do these kids blow themselves up?" beyond "Because they are fanatics."
I have a mini-comic that transcribes parts of the interrogation of a suicide bomber who changed her mind at the last minute and then got caught, while her accomplice went and blew himself up. It was pretty damned heartbreaking.
I honestly don't see much moral difference between someone who sits back and sends kids out on suicide bombings, and someone who sits back and sends kids out to get killed in another war-related manner.
