Lucky also that cops here would need to go all the way to the boot of their car to get the shotgun out before shooting you.

the english called in some other cops entirely who had guns, and they did the shooting...

Yeah, that really freaked me out and pissed me off too. I mean, I was initially thinking "well, if he did that, then fair dues". But If he wasn't wearing a bulky coat, didn't run, and didn't vault the gates, then that's altogether different. I've been meaning to post something on this myself, but I've been a bit inside my shell as of late.
