if they wan't 1500, they have it over valued! top end 80's gear usually doesn't top 1000-1200 dollar range... maybe if it was from the 60's!

it was like $1200 american... and it's only cause of the custom cherry red finish which isn't common with the Gibson Grabber.

other Grabbers go for $750 US or so.

it's either that or try and aget a nice black rickenbacker bass

the 4001's come and go pretty cheaply. I find with basses some of the one's I like most (other then vintage p's) are just ultra cheap one's full of hot spots, and then just upgrade the electronics. it gives them a hot uneven vintage feel... and you don't have to worry about busting them up!

that beeing said both those (grabber's and 4001's) are tanks, and very sweet.
