I know exactly what you mean. Try explaining this stuff to family, or any older generation really. It seems that the older you get the more you are bound to the tradition of trusting those in power. and the younger you are the less you care about what's going on.

I may not know everything that is being lied about, but I know enough to not trust a word that comes from the media. And it's frustrating.

How did that protest go the other weekend??

it's the 20 year olds to the 40 year olds that are the most suseptible to the new god of consumerism.... the buy buy buy or your world will DIE DIE DIE... kind of mentallity that makes people forget about the reall news... the real issuse... they only pay attention to what makes them more money or allows them to spend more money... go in debt... it's good for your country!

-- the protest went alright... not much happened... pretty good turn out i'd say... for the first one.

after you visit a country that has been ravaged in some form or another, its easy to see what we as humans are really capable of doing. and its also easy to see how "good" we've got it over here... as far as having a lot anyway.

people told me before i went to live in south africa that i would experience culture shock going over there. but in reality, it was more culture shock coming back to canada and the consumerism. walking into any one department store made me want to puke. it was too overwhelming to see all the $$$stuff$$$. it really is sickening. thats not what life is about anyways.

unfortunately we cant leave the earth, we're stuck here. so we have to live in it, but not be 'of it'... and hopefully by not participating in some of what goes on, we can change a few lives and a few persons limited ways of thinking

you don't know me ((I'm Emma?)), but I accidentally clicked on you from GUDU and wound up reading this, and I had to comment.

There is something in the air, all people who feel as we feel, connected with the ebb and pull of Earth; can feel it. It is subtle though, but it is tension. The people are all precariously balanced on the edges of things, the trees are starting to whisper to each other and unanimously we all feel that there is something that is going to break, and it will break soon. And when it does there will be those of us prepared with love and light and idea, and those who are not.

There will be those who will last, and those who will not. Have faith, Jah sees us all as we are and he will not let us fall so easily; and though we will have to really put our backs into it we will know when to make a stand intuitively, and it will not be in vain.

I hope you hold your peace and light deep until that day.
