Well, to be fair, we wanted to get away from the sense of the world progressing in a kind of abrupt manner - where you'd get to Neverwinter and Lord Nasher himself would run out like "THANK THE GODS! We need you to save the world!" Things definitely progress, but admittedly in a slower manner: when they come to a head, we wanted you feel like you've earned it.

(Plus just wait until you get to one of the dragon fights. Those dudes aren't pushovers, for damn sure. MUHAHAHAHHA!)
